Indian Science Forum, (formerly known as Science India Forum Muscat) is a voluntary, non-profit organization formed by professionals in the fields of education, science and technology; businessmen and philanthropists to instill science among students. India faces critical challenges as a nation in its march towards a welfare state. Considering the nature of the challenges which are so unique, only rapid strides in the sector of science and technology, in resonance with India’s heritage can meet those challenges. In this context National Science Movement, India, a science movement with patriotic spirit has a greater role to play. It is an NGO supported by Government of India, which was founded in 1982 by a group of eminent scientists from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. This NGO has already earned its niche as a trendsetter in imparting knowledge to the young generation across India and lately abroad.
