Sastra Prathibha Contest

Sastra Prathibha Contest is an examination to make students more affinity towards pure science. It is a part of national level contest for students organizing in India called as Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM).

Indian Science Forum-Oman, in association with National Science Movement (Vijnana Bharati), and with the support of Embassy of India, Oman, ISRO India, and Department of Science and Technology Govt. of India.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

There will be two levels of screening for the selection of Sastra Pratibhas.From this contest we will select top 10 students of each grade among Oman [provided they have scored 60% or more marks] and these 80 students will be evaluated in a one day camp. Two top ranking students from each grade at Oman level shall be selected for the title Sastra Pratibha 2014.Sastra Pratibhas will be awarded with Certificates and Medals by Vijnana Bharati, India. An award ceremony to honour the Sastra Pratibhas and other eligible students will be held. Sastra Pratibhas will get a golden opportunity to visit the primer Research and Development institutes in India and interact with eminent scientist.

STUDY MATERIAL

Questions for the Contest prepared by Vijnana Bharati, India shall be based on the following manner. Forty percentage questions will be from the study material provided by Vijnana Bharati, in the respective category, forty percentage from the school syllabus and remaining twenty percentage from current affairs in science and reasoning.
