About INDIAN SCIENCE FORUM OMAN
Indian Science Forum, (formerly known as Science India Forum Muscat) registered under Indian Social Club (ISC) since 2022 is a voluntary, non-profit organization formed by professionals in the fields of education, science and technology; businessmen and philanthropists to instill science among students. India faces critical challenges as a nation in its march towards a welfare state. Considering the nature of the challenges which are so unique, only rapid strides in the sector of science and technology, in resonance with India’s heritage can meet those challenges. In this context National Science Movement, India, a science movement with patriotic spirit has a greater role to play. It is an NGO supported by Government of India, which was founded in 1982 by a group of eminent scientists from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. This NGO has already earned its niche as a trendsetter in imparting knowledge to the young generation across India and lately abroad.
ISF functions in association with National Science Movement (NSM) and is supported on its educational front by the NCERT (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India

ISF strives to ignite interest, kindle inquisitive spirit and develop young minds to have a passion for science and technology.
ISF shall strive to create a culture of excellence with a renewed commitment encouraging students and the youth to take up research and foster them as inventors of tomorrow to deliver relevant solutions for the development of our nation.
ISF shall strive to educate the youngsters on the rich contributions made by our ancestors towards science and technology and inspire them by providing opportunities to the follow the footsteps of our great scientists.

Aims and Objectives
Indian Science Forum envisages to work with the Indian educational institutions in Oman as well as bridge Science & Research Organizations in India with scientific clubs and associations. Also to strive to further strengthen the Indo Oman ties in education, science and technology.
